This historic water mill in Nové město na Moravě we bought in 2005 and we started its gradual recovery. First, we focused on the exterior, then we made our home inside and we started to restore the garden to its former glory. But something was still missing – we wanted to mill re-lived.
In 2023 we achieve this by building four holiday apartments. The fifth is already under construction and we hope in the future for our guests, we open a small restaurant. The space we have – now I just need the time.
Each apartment is named after the actual millers, who once lived here and worked – Šarla of 15. century, Šimek of 16. century, Humpolecký of 17. century and the Deer of 18. century, adding to the rich history of the mill translates into our daily lives.
We are a small family business that prides itself on thoughtful hospitality. From bed linen from organic cotton and the family supplements to the welcome gifts, and tips for local residents, deeply we care about the details of your stay they make a memorable experience.
